Janice Breeden

Janice Breeden is a contemporary artist formally trained in techniques of painting and drawing.  She was born in Illinois and currently resides in Orange , Virginia where she teaches Foundations of Art at Louisa County High School .

Janice received a BA in Studio art from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton , Virginia and has studied with Joan Snyder of Brooklyn , New York and Melissa Miller of Austin , Texas .  She received the Ulysses Desportes Award for outstanding art achievement and her artwork can be found in various private and public collections including the University of Virginia and Mary Baldwin College.
