Membership Information
BozArt encourages you to apply for membership into our cooperative art gallery. We are a friendly, diverse group of artists working together in a community atmosphere.
As a voting member you will be asked to participate in one of several roles or committees. You may choose to help with the Hanging Committee - responsible for creating each new monthly exhibit-- or to help with publicity, gallery management, training, or accounting. Whether or not our members are on a committee or hold an office, they all pitch in to help run the gallery, because we have no paid employees. You will also be asked to work in the gallery for a three hour shift twice per month (regular member) or four times per month (working member).
To apply for membership you must submit an application along with 5-8 slides or photographs of artwork that you've completed within the last 2 years. In addition to that you must submit at least 3 physical pieces of original artwork and an artist's resume, artist's statement, or biography. Our current voting members will vote on your application at the next monthly meeting - which is Sunday before First Friday each month. If accepted as a voting member, you will begin your membership immediately and exhibit work starting with next month's show. If you are not accepted as a voting member we may still accept you as an associate member, at which point you can decide whether or not to join BozArt under that criteria.

- Voting Member's Benefits & Responsibilities:
- Feature Artist once every 18 months

- Exhibition of 3 pieces per month
- Committee participation
- Voting and jurying privileges at monthly meetings
- Choose from three types of voting membership:
- Working Voting Member - Dues are $30/month plus working 4 gallery shifts per month (2 - 3 hours each)
- Regular Voting Member - Dues are $45/month plus working 2 gallery shifts per month (2 - 3 hours each)
- Non-Working Voting Member - Dues are $65/month with no gallery shifts required
- Exhibition of 3 pieces per month
- Associate Member's Benefits & Responsibilities:
- Annual fee of $85
- $15 per piece to display artwork - exhibition of up to 3 pieces per month
- Associate Group Show annually in August
- No duties required
- Not eligible for feature artist shows
- No voting or jurying privileges
- $15 per piece to display artwork - exhibition of up to 3 pieces per month
