Having lived practically my entire life in Charlottesville, I consider myself local and grateful to be a part of this town's thriving art scene. I have always been creative and relish in finding new ways of being creative and subjects that stimulate that desire. Until recently I have always looked "elsewhere" for inspiration. One day a rather simple realization occurred to me, that the entire world around us is about as beautiful as anything could be and so that's what I now paint. Whether that be a tree, a rock, a dog or a bird it is beautiful and it calms my soul.

I hope some of it will do the same for you.
