Color, light, and geometry all pushed to engage the viewer.  Cindy's paintings reflect interesting perspectives while exploring color to create dynamic compositions.  As a military brat, Cindy's travels took her to many locations around the world, and these memories influence her art.   Painting 'plein air' is one of her favorite activities and on weekends you might catch her on the downtown mall or at the UVA corner, happily painting the people and landscapes of her home town.
