|
Ken Horne is an artist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker employed as a therapist with children and families in Charlottesville, Virginia. He works in various mediums including drawing, painting, photography, mixed media, and collage. Ken has studied painting at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Art Student's League of Denver, American Intercontinental University in London, and Firehouse Center for Visual Arts in Burlington, Vermont. His work is inspired by the Abstract Expressionists of the mid-20th century and his love of exploring relationships between colors and playing around with modern design elements. Ken's work is an ongoing experiment in line, form, color, balance, and design. Central to his process is working to remain grounded and spontaneous in the present moment in order to access deeper levels of expression, communication, and being. |
