I live in beautiful Albemarle County and am an exhibiting member of the James River Art League in Richmond and Bozart Fine Art Collective in Charlottesville, I also serve Bozart as Vice President. I am an exhibiting member of Crossroads Art Center and a member of Plein Air groups and the American Impressionist Society. Additionally, I serve on the Arts Committee for Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. My inspirations to create comes from my travels abroad and within our lovely state of Virginia. As a avid plein air painter, I immerse myself in the sites and sounds around me. There's nothing like capturing the golden glow of sunset spilling over a tranquil lake, the shifting shadows across a bustling city park or the fresh morning air stirring through a mountain landscape. Working on location allows me to bring the true atmosphere and fleeting beauty of each moment to my paintings.
