WELCOME!

Picture

BozART Fine Art Collective artists create art in a variety of media: oils, acrylic, photography, watercolor, pastel, mixed media.   Our mission is to create opportunities for artists to exhibit in the Central VA area and learn from other members.  Our members work together arranging shows and sharing tasks, sharing information and provide camaraderie.
Besides exhibits, the artists have critique and plein air sessions.  We have several meetings throughout the year at which we discuss upcoming shows, ideas, concerns, etc.  Members can attend in person or by zoom.

WHAT BozART provides:
- Opportunities to exhibit artwork in Central Virginia.  Shows are planned by a facilitator who contacts the venue and then emails the details of the show to the members.
- Publicity through: BozART’s website which includes a page for each member, postings on Facebook, Instagram, and Enewsletter sent out to hundreds of our followers and listings for group shows to local newspapers.
- Information to members to keep them abreast of BozART’s shared needs and exhibition opportunities
- Opportunities to get to know each other through critique session, plein aire outings, Christmas party, other gatherings

What we expect of potential members:

- Attend monthly meetings to be informed, give suggestions, voice concerns and share new ideas.
- Actively practice your art and seek ideas to move ahead in your medium
-  Exhibit artwork in a professional manner when artwork is in a show
- Consider how your skills can be used to benefit the membership
- share the bozart newsletter with friends, members of your family by sending their emails to [email protected];
- Be proactive with social media by posting on facebook, instagram or sending your posts to members who can post
