Matalie works in a variety of materials including acrylics, watercolor, pastels and mixed media. Her creative process begins outside, where she enjoys sketching her surroundings. She frequently keeps a sketchbook in her purse, allowing her to capture inspiration from her environment through drawing and painting. Nature is a primary passion and her work often reflects her appreciation for the organic world.
