Dear Bozart Friends, I want to share what I have just developed. It is a 24 pg soft cover book of my paintings as seen here. I plan to take copies of the book as well as several paintings - probably ones not in the book - to some shops to hopefully entice these places to sell my paintings. With hopes that I have pushed my work to a higher level, the contemporary landscapes which I am doing now hopefully will make a good fit where I take the book. We will see!

Thanks for your continued support of my painting. The reception at Park Gables Gallery in Harrisonburg at the VMRC Juried Show was a lovely event. Along with sharing an image of taken that day I want to show you a few new paintings. These are all done with my numerous usual start up layers of paint and collage followed by discovery of ideas, mostly thought up “on the fly” as I look at the markings, shapes and colors. I’m not sure where these images come from in my head, but I do know that it is a great deal of fun working on them. These are all 12 x12 in. size. |
