My life, passion, and feelings build my creative process. Each path leads in different directions, which explains why I express myself in various media. Perhaps my A.D.D. allowed me to conquer various artistic styles. I find styles are like writing with different pens. Some are fine point and detailed while others are bold and loose. Presently I work in acrylics that allow me to work fast and adjust my process as needed. I love patterns and texture and you will see a great deal of this in my recent work." During October her artwork can be found in Charlottesville at: Random Row Brewery on Preston Ave, Hot Cakes at Barracks Rd Shopping Center, in Staunton at the Blackburn Inn, Greenville Ave. Julia Kindred has oil landscapes (two above) at Vitae Spirits Distillery, 715 Henry Ave, Charlottesville. Her paintings will be displayed Oct 2 - Oct 30. In Vitae's gift shop, small oil paintings and hand painted silk scarves will also be for sale. Hours are Wed - Fri 2-9, Sat 10-9, Sun 2-6.

Of course, it would be a huge honor for me to see uliette Sweneson's watercolors, Gail Hailes's photography, Shirley Paul's and Terry Coffey's mixed media. That's why I will surely make time to see it if ever they will be having it once again this year! All the paintings that I see here are all great, that's why there is nothing that I can complain about it. Matalie Deane has good paintings that is the reason why she deserves to be featured hear!
