Shirley Paul installs her exhibit at Random Row Brewery May 2 - June 30. Her technique is called “Intuitive” or “process” painting. This is a practice of meditating with brush in hand. It requires the suspension of fear, expectations and the analytical brain. She allows the painting to evolve based on her vision, love of play and experimentation. Currently, one of her interests is conveying the look of the geological formations in the Southwest US. Located: 608 Preston Ave., Charlottesville, VA 22903. I am happy to see that Shirley Paul was given the chance to have an exhibit in Random Row Brewery! It was indeed a good opportunity for her to showcase what she've got. I believe that all artists are all talented and we need to support them with everything that they want to do. We need to remember that our artists serve as a great asset for the country that's why we need to support and empower them in any way we can. I am sure we will get something from it. Leave a Reply. |
